I personally would like to try the bottomless French wines in any of these restaurants and yes, the buffet! I'm also looking forward to new varieties of French macarons if any of these restaurants offer that.

We tried a place with great food and #Swiss hospitality in Vieux Chalet. This secluded restaurant can be reached only by private car, but the trip was worth it. You'll be greeted with warm smiles and an overlooking view of the Metro Manila skyline, which is best seen during the golden hour.
A welcoming statue of a Swiss baker by the entrance.
Bring your friends and families and you can delight on sumptuous and satisfying food ranging from appetizers, pizza, entrees, charcuterie and desserts -- the perfect partner for a long reunion chat.
A warm plate of tomato based soup with toasted flatbread
Their pizza is perfectly baked and generous with toppings like tomatoes, sausages, greens and peppers. A slice or two is already satisfying.
A grazing board with different meat cuts, cheeses, breads and spreads. Also includes a fresh and healthy salad on the side.
As they are observing strict protocols for now, you have to reserve your slot to have a calming experience within the city. Reserve your slot by calling +63286970396.
Tried this hip place in Sheridan St. Mandaluyong City where you can mix and match different Asian flavors that will satisfy your taste.
Retail 05 Ground Level Rockwell Business Center, Mandaluyong City
Wok n Roll, a young restaurant that offers casual dining experience opened in December 2018 and has been catering good food to the Rockwell Business Center Sheridan establishments and nearby residents in the area.
It's stylish interiors are welcoming and cozy, perfect for meetings or casual get togethers. An IG-friendly spot while enjoying the food that they have to offer. I love the dome light fixtures that show intricate details in close up. Chairs and tables are relatively comfortable and there are pepper displays that spices up good conversations among your friends.
Speaking of food, Wok n Roll provides wide choices that you can enjoy while dining in or on-the-go. They have customized and signature menu to suit your appetite. You can make your own rice bowls that contains rice or noodles, sauce, protein, and/or vegetables. Their signature dishes
The ingredients are also in display and they are cooked over the counter that's why you are guaranteed with fresh and neatly prepared dishes in front of your eyes.
Fresh ingredients
Me and the group I'm with tried their Make Your Own Menu. We had these delectable dishes that combines great tasting ingredients cooked right.
Rice noodles, chicken, mushroom, Hainanese chicken sauce
For me this is the perfect balance. The noodles are tender, flavors don't overpower the others, it has veges and protein and the Hainanese chicken sauce gives that good umami taste. The mushroom squeezes out the juice in the mouth and it's guilt-free to finish the whole thing.
Brown rice, chicken breast, satay, broccoli
The rice is perfectly cooked as well, the chicken breast is tender and juicy, I love the satay sauce's sweetness too. They cooked the broccoli with a right crunch.
Their signature Pad Thai and fresh spring rolls that roll out the great Asian taste. The Pad Thai is not very spicy which I really liked. The fresh spring rolls a strong cilantro taste that I like.
Wok N Roll is open from 10am-10pm Mondays-Sundays. You may also check their social media pages:

For most of us, we have been comparing different xiao long baos (XLB) in the Metro and there's another contender in taking pride on their xiao long bao dish, no other than the first and newest restaurant located in BGC, Bai Nian Tang Bao (BNTB).

A bright Sunday morning when I immediately got out of bed and washed to catch the 11am meeting with friends in a place called Rustic Mornings in Marikina. A humble home converted into a restaurant with great ambiance with both al fresco and dine-in facilities that can accommodate small groups and families.
It was my very first visit to the restaurant and they jokingly asked how come I was never ever get to come to the place when I was the one most accessible to it. I just ignored and looked at the menu beside me and hailed the waiter for a blueberry pancake, some sliced kiwi and roasted almonds on the side.
As it arrived, butter melts down the pancake and the blueberry syrup drips down the side which made it look more appetizing. I thought that they are just toppings but the batter also has blueberries in it. I drizzled over the maple syrup and began to enjoy the rich and creamy pancake for my brunch. One slice of kiwi at a time and crunch on some toasted almonds made the blueberry pancake more interesting.
Finishing it with matcha latte and then I'm ready to take an afternoon nap.
RUSTIC MORNINGS is located at 11 I. Mendoza St., San Roque, Marikina City.
Drinks and desserts in UP Town Center that you can enjoy any time of the day. Baker & Cook
Baker & Cook is new to the Bistro Group and they focus on bread and pastries that can give you a comforting afternoon and great menu to match with coffee. They also have amazing desserts that play with our taste buds to cap off a satisfying meal. Chocolates, custard, jams and more can contribute to a tea party and fun conversations.
Shakeaway
The biggest milkshake store that I've been because it can create many of your desired milkshake flavors in one place! And they named their milkshake very unusually: think of any boy's or girl's name and they will have it crafted for you -- complete with chocolate or candy sprinkles over a tall cloud of whipped cream! They also have healthy options like granola and oats too. Just find the huge white place near Gringo's.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
Probably where I can be spotted when I'm at UP Town Center, sipping coffee, chatting or making myself busy with the reliable internet, thank to my Swirl card perks. CBTL is a comfortable meeting place for people of all sorts. Whether it's coffee, frappe or tea, it is always a must-try. Lifehack: refillable hot water when you order tea.
There's a young bistro located at SM Jazz Mall in Makati City where you can spend good times with friends; eat meals, snacks or pica-picas and have a party till you drop. After All, as what the name suggests, lets you enjoy wonderful moments and unwind, after all, it's a place for food and fun.
After All was started by a group of friends who felt that fun and business can go together, that friendship should last forever, and that a bar-resto set up can best achieve this objective, where there is good food, good music and good laughter.
The group named this place After All to commemorate all those years that they've been together, through thick and thin, and still enjoying good times together. It's a watering hole, a meeting place for friends, a place to talk about old jokes and funny things in the past, and what else to do "after all we've been through."
A simple dining experience that is suitable to all individuals or groups. A bar welcomes you at the entrance while you listen to good music, especially live performances by night time. Enjoy the bands performing on schedule. And of course, they will definitely play After All by Cher and Peter Cetera to complete every night for your sing-along fix.
Enjoy Piano Nights every Sunday with old favorites by the owners.
A good place compliments good food in After All. The menu is driven by inspirations and culinary skills by the owners, sharing their love for food to visitors which they also consider friends.
Spend good times with friends and family at After All. Whether you live from SM Jazz residences or nearby, you'll definitely have a good time. It is located at 235 Ground Floor, Jazz Mall, Nicanor Garcia Cor. Jupiter St., Makati. #GoodTimesAfterAll
