Bizu Patisserie again invited bloggers to a refreshing afternoon. now they served their SUMMER MENU starting off with an afternoon tea. the warm hospitality of Bizu was held at their Promenade Greenhills branch at 4-6PM.
a great English tea came along with Mushroom Duxelle in Vol-au-Vent, Salmon with Dill Pistachio Mousseline on Pate Brisee, Caramelized Apples with Brie on Croute, Petit Croque Monsieur and Petit Herbed Chicken Feta in Ciabatta.
their classic scones served fresh and yummy when you add Strawberry Balsamic Jam, Chantilly Cream or Whipped Butter. a bite of Madeleines and temptating sweets like Macarons de Paris, Chocolate Truffles, an Opera Cake or a Mango Chiboust help increase your sugar rush.
but the stars of the afternoon are Bizu's SUMMER SORBETS that come in set when you order for only P285+. first served to us is the Passionfruit and Mango Sorbet with passionfruit seeds to give that little texture that don't disturb your enjoyment with the sorbet. tangy taste for Lemon and Ginger reinforcing your resistance to summer sickness as your mothers would probably concoct. sweet Lychee and Vanilla and Raspberry and Merlot beating the heat. and Apple and Mint for that clean and fresh mouth feeling.
the Yoga Cake, as we could call it, doesn't really have to do with yoga. the name is taken by Bizu as it has the best recall to costumers. this cake combines passionrfruit, yogurt and lemon curd custard placed in between layers of moist sable and genoise sponge. the Yin-Yang principle is followed: the balance of strong flavors but lightness of tropical fruits that will surely lighten the summer.
