PRIMERO CASA FILIPINO review

i have many dining experiences, thus the weight gain. but i am not ashamed since i am living the life that i enjoy. i love the diversity of food and culture wherever i go and i think it's still nicest to get back to the old roots. but the contemporary can always jive in with the old-fashioned especially to a witness of many events -- a restaurant called PRIMERO CASA FILIPINO.
Primero Casa Filipino is a restaurant whose building is ancestral to many generations. it was before named Bistro Torillo, since it is located on Scout Torillo St. then renamed Katips, a college runaway place for night gimmicks; and now settling in its current name since July 2011.

the restaurant offers a great buffet spread well-planned. if you would be a regular customer, your palate will not get tired of a usual buffet line-up. thus, the three chefs of Primero Casa Filipino lay out different menus every day. during our visit, a pleasurable array of meat, seafood and vegetables. some favorites are these Shrimp Shooters and Roasted Chicken.
they also serve Filipino dishes with a twist like their Lumpia, Kare-kare, and Afritada which satisfied personal favors. flavors kick in with surprise and the meat dishes are tender and melts in the mouth.

interiors throughout the venue is a fusion of the old and the new. with the old building undergone restorations, new decorations accentuate and lit the place very well creating that calm atmosphere. go up to their Vivades where you can organize a private party upto 100 people. the public dining room, or Comedor, is where the buffet is served. young professionals can enjoy themselves at the Antesala with their drinks and pica-picas and socialize with more guests.
Comedor
buffets are served at different times for only Php 398 (Monday-Thursday) and Php 498 (Friday-Sunday).
Lunch - 11AM - 2PM
Dinner - 6PM - 10PM

RK Garden Seafood Restaurant - a foodie t'ien

T'ien - the Chinese term for heaven is what i experienced dining in at RK Garden Chinese Seafood Restaurant. a very young establishment which opened last March 18 2013 in the busy road of Jupiter St. in Bel-Air Makati. owned by Singaporean and a Filipina, the restaurant is proud to present their own Kilawin recipe which is famous from where they met -- Tagum City, Davao.
RK stands for "Rose's Kilawin," the woman behind this restaurant. her husband has whole-heartedly devoted the place under his wife's name in tribute to the dish which weaved their love story.

you'll have so many interesting dishes inside RK Garden. from soups to appetizers, to the main course to the drinks, your choices are endless. i even had to surrender with much of the food that was laid out on the table. the rich colors and smell of each dish beckons my hungry soul to dig in and splurge with delight.
with the cozy ambience inside the restaurant and delectable food, each visitor is treated with a homey experience. an experience almost perfect, one or more can stay longer as they like and relax in the peacefulness inside. it will be pure indulgence of having a spicy red crab on the table and munch crispy chicken on the side.
you don't even have to worry on the price list because items are reasonably priced and worth the taste. seafoods are harvested and cooked fresh from their own aquarium to guarantee freshness of the meals.
